Eevee Gym Promo Revealed for Deck Tournaments

An alternate-art version of the Eevee from the MEGA Starter Set ex Decks has been revealed as the latest Pokémon Card Gym promotional card in Japan. This exclusive promo will be distributed as a participation prize at official "Deck As Is Battle" tournament events starting September 2, 2026.

Event Details

The "Battle with Your Deck" event is being held at participating Pok Pokémon Card Game GYM stores nationwide in Japan. Players must bring their own deck constructed from eligible pre-built products and compete without modifying the deck contents.

Eligible Decks

To participate and receive the Eevee Gym promo, players must use one of the following sealed products:

• Mega Starter Set ex – Eevee ex

• Mega Starter Set ex – Zorua & Zoroark ex

• Mega Starter Set ex – Sprigatito & Meowscarada ex

• Start Deck 100 Battle Collection (any version)

• Start Deck 100 Battle Collection CoroCiao Version

• 30th Celebration Premium Deck Set – Espeon & Umbreon (available from September 16, 2026)

Card Details

The promotional Eevee carries the collector number 134/M-P and features the Pok Pokémon Card Gym logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork. While the card retains the same attacks as the Eevee from the MEGA Starter Set ex Eevee ex deck, it showcases brand-new artwork by illustrator HACCAN.

Attack List

• Nickerchen (Tackle) – Heal 20 damage from this Pokémon.

• Kopfstoß® (Headbutt) – 10 damage.

The card is a Basic Colorless-type Pokémon with 70 HP, maintaining the same stats and moveset as its Starter Set counterpart.

Beyond the participation promo, tournament winners can earn additional rewards:

Availability

This M-P promotional print is currently exclusive to Japan and has not yet been announced for international release. The card is part of the broader M-P Promotional cards series distributed through Pokémon Card Gym events.

For collectors and players outside Japan, the Eevee Gym promo may become available through secondary markets or future international promotional distributions. We'll update this article if The Pokémon Company International announces a worldwide release.
